1. Grade writing

2. Read Ch. 29 and do 24 word paragraph

3. Do 29 Chapter 29-31 vocabulary on computer.  Save in Pages on desktop.

4. Alex the Great Video...10 notes and why he is "great" (in a paragraph)

Tuesday - 2/28

Hi Classes - I am in training today.  I am learning how to teach with the Apple computers.

Today's activities:

1. Grade your rough drafts.  Mr. Scott is checking to see if your work is done.

2. If you are not done, then keep writing.

3. If done, then sit at another person's computer and "peer edit" their paper.  Write tips for the other person. 

4. Fix your paper and or edit it.

5. If you are done, then Read Ch. 29 and a 24 word paragraph

HW: Write the final draft due when you walk into class on Wed./Thur.

1. CNN news

2. Read and discuss the 24 word paragraphs for CH. 28 (we did these last week)

3. Get directions for the Persian War Battle writing

4. Work on the graphic organizer (finish in class) and rough draft/s (start in class - finish at home) for the writing

5. Contest???  

HW: Finish the rough draft on computer ....Friday we will do peer editing (giving writing tips)

Advisory Friday, 2-9

1. Be sure your workbook pages 176-179 are done.  Be sure you have 3 under each and 2 for woman and 2 for slaves.

2. Then work on pg. 180 and include:
4 unique items for Athens
4 unique items for Sparta
3 similar or same items
2 pictures for each.
And, You can do this on computer if you want. 

3. All items due on Mon./Tues.

4. If time, Watch CNN student news.

1. Correct Ch. 26 workbook pgs. 172-173

2. Get Bathroom passes - 2 for 3rd quarter

3. Discuss pg. 175 in workbook - do it if needed

4. Read Ch. 27 and do Ch. 27 workbook pg. 176-179 - be sure to do the metope pictures in the box above the writing....under the lions

5. If time, we will do a competition.

6. Watch this link as an introduction to Ch. 28... Battle in the movie 300!!

HW: Finish the Ch. 27 notes and the Venn Diagram (Friday's work)....all due on Monday/Tues.
